It has been an amazing year for J.P.Morgan BAR skipper Ben Ainslie. After securing his fourth consecutive Olympic gold medal at his home Olympics in London, Ben became the most decorated Olympic sailor in the history of the Games. Today alongside some of the other outstanding athletes from London 2012 Ben was awarded a Knighthood for his achievements within sailing.
Speaking today after hearing the news Ben commented,
“This is an incredible honour. When I set out Olympic sailing twenty years ago, I never would have dreamt this would happen. I couldn’t have achieved this honour without the support of all the people who have helped me throughout my career and so I hope they can also take some pride in this moment”
